Invisalign® Orthodontics

Invisalign® Clear Orthodontics gradually moves your teeth through a series of custom-made, removable, nearly-invisible aligners. With each new aligner, different pressure is applied to achieve calculated movement.

With Invisalign® it's possible to close a small space between teeth, move a tooth slightly, or straighten all the teeth to improve your smile -- without brackets and wires.

Benefits of Invisalign®:

  • Invisalign® appliances are removable for brushing and flossing, where traditional braces are not, which can help prevent tooth decay and gum disease.
  • You can still eat what you want. Because the aligners are removable you don't have to worry about food getting stuck in the appliance.
  • Professional dental cleanings are quicker and easier than with traditional orthodontics.

Though every smile is different, most cases can be completed in 10-18 months. Call to schedule your Invisalign® consultation and get the smile you have always wanted.

Porcelain Veneers

Lumineers®

Are your teeth chipped or stained? Would you like to improve your smile permanently, without any painful processes? We are pleased to offer Lumineers® as an alternative to traditional porcelain veneers.

Veneers provide a way to conceal stains, chips, discoloration and misaligned teeth, by covering your actual teeth with a permanent layer of tooth-colored material.

You may be familiar with the conventional process of applying veneers. This generally involves shaving away a significant portion of the tooth, and requires an anesthetic shot to numb the resulting pain. In many cases, temporary veneers must be worn while the permanent veneers are manufactured in a lab.

Because Lumineers® are as thin as a contact lens, their application requires little to no tooth reduction, and no anesthetic is necessary. Lumineers® are bonded to your teeth and set in place with a curing light. Because the process is less invasive than with traditional veneers, Lumineers® patients find that they immediately enjoy their new smiles without any post-procedure discomfort or sensitivity.

Cerinate®, the company that makes Lumineers®, offers a five-year warranty on its veneers, and their clinical trials show that Lumineers® can last up to 20 years.

Teeth Whitening

Opalescence®

Dr. Fievet Provides Professional Teeth Whitening with Opalescence®. Opalescence® is a professional teeth whitening treatment that uses custom trays.

How does it work?

Whitening your teeth has never been easier. Soft, thin custom trays are made of the upper and lower teeth. Bleach is placed in the trays at home and worn for several hours. The thin membrane tray adheres to the teeth and remains securely in place. It's that easy.

Is It Safe?

This is a perfectly safe way to whiten your teeth. In fact, Opalescence® contains both potassium nitrate and fluoride which has been proven to prevent cavities and remineralize the teeth.

How do I keep my smile?

After you have the white smile you've long desired, it's important to keep it that way. Practice good oral hygiene and always remember to brush after consuming staining food or beverages.

Dental Bonding

Bonding is a conservative way to repair slightly chipped, discolored, or crooked teeth. During dental bonding, a white filling is placed onto your tooth to improve its appearance. The filling "bonds" with your teeth, and because it comes in a variety of tooth-colored shades it closely matches the appearance of your natural teeth.

Tooth bonding can also be used for teeth fillings instead of amalgam fillings. Many patients prefer bonding fillings because the white color is much less noticeable than the silver amalgam fillings. Bonding fillings can be used on front and back teeth depending on the location and extent of tooth decay.

Bonding is less expensive than other cosmetic treatments and usually can be completed in one visit to our office. However, bonding can stain and is easier to break than other cosmetic treatments such as porcelain veneers. If it does break or chip, let us know. The bonding can generally be easily patched or repaired in one visit.
